Environmental Permitting & Reporting

There are multiple environmental programs that may be applicable to distillers. This course provides general awareness training of the most common potentially applicable environmental programs to distillery operations, including bottling and warehousing. It covers a broad overview of the major environmental programs, triggers or thresholds for applicability, permitting or registration processes, and reporting requirements and deadlines. The course also addresses environmental requirements at the federal, state, and local levels.

Learning Outcomes:
1. Gain general awareness of the various environmental programs and which ones may apply to your operations
2. Learn what triggers applicability to a particular environmental program and what you have to do to comply with the rules and regulations
3. Understand your in-house environmental capabilities and when to contact outside expertise for technical assistance
